In Safe Haven, the beginning setting is in a restaurant. I know this because Nicholas Sparks says, "After retrieving a pitcher of sweet tea, she refilled their glasses before returning to the waitress station" (Sparks 1). This shows me that it's in a restaurant because it says "waitress station". Most restaurants have a waitress station. I can infer that this book is going to be about a true love between two people because during the book they talk about how Jo needs to get Katie a guy and then thy meet Josh. I like love stories. And that's why I pick this book!

ReplyDeleteI started reading the book but I didn't finish it because I ended up watching the movie. If you haven't seen the movie yet don't see it until after. I always like the endings in the book better then the movies!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the movie for this book and it was pretty good. And your'e right about hows its a love story. I don't usually like love story's but this one is pretty good because it has a unique twist at the end.

Have you seen the movie or just read the book, Is the movie anything like the book becasue I liked the movie alot especially the twist in it in the middle, kinda towards the end. Let me know!
